Children’s Book Club

Justin D’Ath, storyteller and author of over 30 books for children and young adults will be at the library to talk about this books and writing. Children of all ages are welcome.

Highland Gathering

The day will include Pipe Bands, Heavy Events, Scottish Food, Highland Dancing and much more. The day also includes the Armadale Cycle Classic, which runs around Minnawarra Park.

Carols in Minnawarra

A favourite on the City’s event calendar, Carols in Minnawarra features the Armadale City Concert Band and choirs from Armadale Primary School, Roleystone Theatre, Pioneer Village Choir and dancers, Classic Sounds and the much loved soloist Katherine John. Expect a visit from Santa and lots of activities for the kids.

Movies in the park

Running from Saturday, 12 January to Saturday, 16 February 2013

Pack up a rug and picnic and head to Kelmscott’s Rushton Park for two nights of movies under the stars at the City of Armadale’s Movies in the Park.

A FREE event, Movies in the Park brings family films straight from the box office to the entire Armadale community.

Australia Day

Spectacular fireworks set to an all-Australian soundtrack will be the highlight of the City of Armadale’s Australia Day celebrations. Before the fireworks go off, expect a fabulous array of entertainment for the whole family.
